Zara Blazer, Goodwill Price

What, you thought I only scored one fab jacket on my latest trip to Goodwill?
I paid $13.49 for this little Zara number. No big deal.
Poplin Cross-Front Dress, American Apparel, $36; Polka Dot Tights, Urban Outfitters, $14ish; Pumps, Guess, $60ish last year if memory serves.

Kvelling and Kvetching
It looks ridiculously good on you, lady. The whole outfit is making me faint with jealousy, in fact.
@ 4:35 pm on October 13th, 2008Hi! Love your blog. I saw you doing a couple of posts on shoes lately and I thought I’d ask if you’d ever heard of 6pm.com - because they are AWESOME. They regularly do great deals (a while ago, all of the Nine West shoes were $40 or cheaper), I’d recommend getting on the email list ’cause then you find out about the deals a few days before they’re posted on the main page. Once they get posted on the main page the shoes go REALLY fast. The shipping is great too - I ordered shoes Monday morning and got them by Thursday. I think it was only like $8 for two pairs of shoes too.
Also! I know I sound like a freakin’ infomercial here but have you heard of Insolia insoles? They look deceivingly simple, little pieces of plastic you put in your heels, but somehow help to shift the weight back onto your heel from the ball of the foot, making wearing heels a LOT more bearable. They’re kinda pricey, at about $9 a pair, but SOOOOOOO worth it, at least for the heel-inept like me. I fell in love with this pair of boots:

and the Insolia insoles make wearing them so much easier. Before I’d be hobbling after walking 30 minutes in them, I wore them for about two hours on Saturday and was still fine at the end (would have tested longer, but we ran out of thrift stores, hah).
Keep up the good work on the blog!
Michelle
