Marc Jacobs Concocts Fugliest Shorts EVER

I’ve been known to take issue with Marc Jacobs’s warped view of a woman’s body. These shorts exemplify my position.
I found them at Buff Exchange, and concede that they’re only marginally awful on the hanger. But on the body…
…they are, hands down, the most heinous excuse for designer apparel I have EVER seen. I can’t even conceive of the kind of figure MJ had in mind when he concocted this disaster – did an alien form unknown to us as of yet inspire these? Are they a welcoming gift for fashion-savvy creatures from another galaxy where waffled cotton high-waisted messes are eternally In?
Marc, I don’t know what planet you’re on but here, ON EARTH, it’s just not okay to charge the equivalent of a human limb for wares this repulsive. Those faces I’m making in the picture are no joke – I really did almost throw up when I tried these on. Get it together, or I will puke all over that spray-tanned smirk of yours, and then you’ll have to re-do your hair.

Dude, like, what are you complaining about?? Those shorts are totally the only way to tell the world, “I’m so damn gorgeous and skinny that not even this nasty, insta-pooch, butt-widening contraption can detract from my hotness!” Yeah, that has to be it…
Yoiks. Those are downright appalling. One of my only items of designer garb is a pair of 3.1 Phillip Lim paperbag waist shorts and believe me, they are hella flattering. It CAN be done.

Ugh I remember shorts like that from the late ’80s, early ’90s. Way to go MJ for ripping off yet another style. These shorts seriously disturb me and I can’t imagine anyone looking halfway decent in them.
I think most Marc Jacobs’ designs are heinous!!! I’ve never understood why he seems to be the darling of the fashionistas!!
