The things she recommends in her emails are usually fantasy-level prices for me, but I do appreciate how she has "parallel universe" alternatives for much cheaper at the bottom of each email -- I think personally she would be down with all your nude pump alternatives! For all her designer-worship, I think it's the look/ideal that she's most in love with, not necessarily just the brand itself.
