At $160, it’s a rip off of the heinously offensive ilk. I obvs wasn’t peeved because I planned on buying it; I was tweaking because so many others had, once again, drunk the KateMoss-Aid.I was still stewing yesterday afternoon, so I took a walk down Broadway, stopped in front of Topshop, and shot the store my bitchiest glare. This did nothing. Then I went across the street to Pearl River Mart, found a $32.50 alternative to the sold-out $160 kimono, and felt a whole lot better.
I admit, some tweaking and scissoring is required to turn Pearl River Mart’s Short Floral Robe into a carbon copy of Kate Moss for Topshop’s overhyped dress. But it can be done. Oh yes, it can be done.Stay tuned for a video tutorial on DIY-ing your way from a silk robe to a sold-out dress. Word.

Oh…. Can’t wait to see it!
THANK YOU for putting up the “non-PC alert” after the word “Oriental”! It’s sickening and ignorant that companies still use this word to describe anything that’s vaguely Asian.
I LIVE for Pearl River! Can’t wait for the vid!
Kate Moss could have been very successful had she not been so addicted to drugs.::*
