The Magic of Camisoles

Nearly nine months ago, I took a bold and possibly misguided stand against $24 camisoles.

Maybe Anthropologie’s Plain and Simple Eloise Cami was the most magical one I’d ever purchased. Maybe I’d worn it for two years straight to the point of pilling. But I’d bought it before my Cheap JAP days; a time when such extravagances were throwaways.

I wasn’t about to pony up twenty four bucks for a new cami if that same amount could net me a gently worn pair of $200 designer jeans. I was savvier than that, smarter than that.

Turns out I was also an arrogant little shit.

For nine months I have toiled in search of something on par with the Eloise Camisole. And for nine months I have found NOTHING. I finally conceded defeat last week, and hit Anthropologie fully prepared to surrender.

I was planning on purchasing three Plain and Simples… then I tried on the Eloise Reversible Seamless Tank.

My joy can be experienced vicariously by viewing the video below.
